Faced with the current situation where the prominent pain points of traditional warehouses severely hinder business growth, HERO Intelligent has tailored a smart warehousing solution for a smart home company, helping it achieve a smart upgrade of its warehouse operations.
Project Pain Points:
1. Low space utilization: Flat stacking and low-level shelving resulted in insufficient storage density and high warehousing costs;
2. Heavy reliance on manual labor: Daily inbound and outbound volume averaged only 300 pallets, with a picking error rate exceeding 5%;
3. Manual ledger and spreadsheet-based record-keeping: Cumbersome processes created information silos, leading to delayed and inaccurate inventory data; losses resulting from this accounted for over 20% of total inventory costs;
4. Lack of an advanced information management system, resulting in low efficiency in inventory control, order processing, and other operations.
Project Scope:
To address these pain points, HERO Intelligent tailored a precise solution, designing a 3,000-square-meter smart finished goods warehouse for the client with a ceiling height of 24 meters and 12,000 storage bins. Hardware includes intelligent equipment such as double-deep stacker cranes, RGVs, and elevators; software features a WMS (Warehouse Management System) and WCS (Warehouse Control System) to enable seamless hardware-software integration.
Project Highlights:
1. Space Optimization: Storage density increased by 300%, significantly improving space utilization;
2. Efficiency Improvement: Average daily inbound and outbound volume increased by 400%, with a picking accuracy rate of 99.99%, leading to a significant boost in operational efficiency;
